Starting with the 1980's power suit, we reconsidered the masculinity embedded within the garment and the protection it held for business women at the time. Overlapping traditional notions of femininity, turning the garment on its side, and teasing apart the ensemble, we aimed to create pieces that bent the lines between the garment's genderness and symbol of power.
